Community is about friendship, support, and sharing. As a network of people gathering together for the same cause, we learn together, laugh together, and sometimes cry together if the mood strikes us.

And, although it eats up your precious time, the Internet expands these networks and allows us to process information at a faster rate. The result is a worldwide mega-network at your digital fingertips that grants you unlimited access to the Tango information you seek.

All Tango dancers with a computer can reap the benefits.

The Tango Notebook Sets the Stage

Join our growing online Tango community for a meet and greet. We’re opening the doors for any dancer with a voice and a keyboard.

This is your chance to share your experiences, fears, and aspirations with Tango for the  benefit of each other. In reality, people are all we really have on this earth, so let’s utilize and support each other while we can.

Start here:

  1. Tell your Tango story to everyone.
  2. Think of a time you quit or almost gave up dancing.

Pete – I’m so glad you brought this up. Have you noticed how tango dancers love to connect? I’ve met dancers from all over the world online and a few have started trickling through Austin, so I’ve gotten to meet (and dance) with these far flung tangueros/as! I can hardly wait to start traveling, so I can meet more dancers from faraway places (and inspire them to visit my community too!)

Plus, let’s face it, tango is hard! We all need encouragement and inspiration through the rough spots – and someone to celebrate when we have great experiences. You’ve got something wonderful started here!!

You’re spot on, Mari.

From guest posts on this blog, random Facebook comments, and quick “hello” emails, I’ve met many new Tango faces in person. So far, it’s been in 3 different states in less than 5 months – curse you, flu, for canceling my trip to Texas! My dancing has improved, too, not to mention my mindset by learning from others’ experiences.

There are many free ways to improve your Tango… this is one of them!
